The tradition every Christmas Eve to set out cookies for Santa got me thinking… why not turn those cookies into something really fun AND delicious? Mmmm… YES! This game is super easy and a lot of fun. You can do it all in one night or spread it out over the course of a week, whatever your Santa decides your fate to be! All you need is some of those scrumptious sugar cookies, a box to put them in, and Santa’s Cookies Printable. {A HUGE ‘Thank You’ goes out to the very talented Leah. She designed all of the darling printables you see here and graciously has made them available for FREE to all of you sweet readers out there to help strengthen your marriages. Leah has a wide-range of abilities in Graphic Design. Trust us when we say, if you can dream it up she can create it.}
Cut out each of the printables and put the ornament printables on top of your sugar cookies. Place your cookies in a pastry box or on a fun platter and seal it with one of the ‘Santa’s Cookies’ emblems.
Attach the Instructions for Santa’s Cookie Box on the top and deliver to your sweet heart when you have a moment to truly enjoy each other. Now… here’s how to play: Each cookie has a category and an item. For each cookie that ‘Santa’ picks, the cookie will determine the activity to follow. For location, ‘Santa’ may choose to meet underneath the Christmas tree or have his ‘Elf’ determine the location for him. Next, he will decide what attire is required… ‘Santa’ may want his little ‘Elf’ dressed up in stockings or he may prefer to keep his ‘Santa’ hat on… or both. Lastly, ‘Santa’ will want to determine if he’d like to add a little spice to the evening. If he chooses the “Mistletoe” option… then his little ‘Elf’ gets to show him where to plant his kisses. If he chooses the “Packages tied up with String”, then his little ‘Elf’ will have wrapped up something fun that will add to their evening together.
‘Santa’ may reserve the right to use up all of his cookies for one evening of fun, or decide to use them sparingly over the course of several days.
