Fingers crossed. When I think of Easter, I really think of happiness, blessings, and making the most out of the gift of this life and my marriage, so I thought why not give a romantic moment an Easter appeal? This year, my man is getting a lil’ somethin’ “eggstra!” (So punny. I tried to avoid it… I really did.)

Grab a basket, some grass, a few items you already have and enjoy in the bedroom and maybe a new item or two. This is meant to be easy to pull together. You can place items in eggs if they’re small, hide them in the grass and have him dig or just showcased on top. Ooh, and don’t forget plenty of his favorite candies in the other eggs! If you wanna play it up with candy, try some of these ideas! Since this isn’t a basket to really share with the kids, wait until they are in bed. Display it up a little with a picture of the two of you and set up a little trail of jelly beans or other bite size munchies for him to follow to his basket. I LOVE the element of surprise, so I won’t show him… rather let him find the trail and meanwhile I’ll be in the bathroom getting all beautified.
